We hope this blog finds you well and that autumn has added a splash of colour to wherever you are! :) It's been a busy few months for us - and we've got some really exciting stuff to share with you!
Album Launch Tickets On Sale
As you all know - we've been hard at work in the studio over the last few months recording our third album: The Waters and the Wild. We're now almost done on the initial recording elements of the project. Last week we had percussion and double bass go down, and we've got some amazing musicians working on some incredible string arrangements as we speak! On Saturday 21st of April 2018, we've got a really special concert planned to launch the album. We'll be joined on stage with cello and double bass, and we've also got the multi-award-winning guitarist, Will McNicol supporting us. It really will be a night to remember!
Now...this is where we need your help! It's our biggest ever Ninebarrow concert, as this time we're going to be holding it in Poole's 600 seater 'Lighthouse Theatre'. Tickets have just gone on sale, and we're hoping people will come from far and wide to help support us! As you can see below - some of the best seats have already gone and they've only been on sale a few days! Head on over to the Lighthouse Poole website to grab yours!
And for those who live a little further away from Poole...Dorset is really rather beautiful in the Spring! Weekend getaway anyone...?!
New Photo Shoot
During the summer, we got together with our good mate Greg Funnell - photographer extraordinaire - to put together a new set of images for the promotion of the new album. You've already seen one of them at the top of this email, but we thought you might like to see another that we haven't shared with the world yet! We were kind of working under the title 'Overthrown' which is one of the tracks on the new album. The song looks at how, with time, nature will always claim back humanity's creations, and we've tried to capture that idea in the images. We really hope you like them!
New Dates Announced
In addition to our album launch, we're announcing other new dates all the time - so please do check out the gigs page! It'd be great to see you out and about at one of them soon!
We'll keep you posted on how the new album is progressing, and we're hoping to have some snippets to share with you before Christmas, all being well. Suffice it to say - we're pretty darn excited!
Until then - all the best and take care,
